Kaiju Universe Skill Point Planner
Frameworks for every five-level breakpoint from early game to plus levels.
The Skill Point Planner helps you spend Kaiju Universe points on purpose. You gain one skill point every five levels on each kaiju, allocatable into Damage, Health, Regen, or Speed, all the way through level 100 and plus levels. Long-form reasoning sits in Skill Points Builds; this page is the decision sheet.
Sibling tool: Farming Checklist. Hub: Tools Hub.
Step 0 — identify the kaiju job
Circle one before you click a stat:
- Farmer (missions + buildings)
- Duelist (player fights)
- Hybrid main (most players)
- Gateway key (only leveling for an unlock requirement)
Write the kaiju’s current name (Dredger, Reisserax, Strykarech, Kumora, Zaratan, Aglacius, or your owned starter). Avoid planning under outdated community nicknames.
Step 1 — diagnose the last session
Answer quickly:
- I died to burst before using my kit → need Health
- I lived but returned to full too slowly → need Regen
- Buildings / kills took forever → need Damage
- I could not rotate, chase, or escape → need Speed
- I whiffed because of controls, not stats → fix Controls first
If the issue is mechanical, spending Speed will not save you. Drill Q/E and attack ranges, then return.
Step 2 — pick a framework
Framework F — Farmer
Priority order: Damage → Speed → Regen → Health
Target mix after many breakpoints (adapt freely): Dam 45% / Speed 25% / Regen 20% / HP 10%
Use with How to Get G-Cells and dense maps from Maps and Cities.
Framework D — Duelist
Priority order: Damage → Health → Regen → Speed (or Speed earlier for skirmishers)
Brawler mix: Dam 40% / HP 30% / Regen 20% / Speed 10% Skirmisher mix: Dam 35% / Speed 30% / HP 20% / Regen 15%
Apply in fights using PvP Combat and validate the pick with PvP Meta.
Framework H — Hybrid main
Early (first 4–6 points): Health/Regen lean
Mid: Damage catch-up
Late: patch whichever lost you the last week of sessions
Hybrid mix: Dam 35% / HP 25% / Regen 20% / Speed 20%
Ideal for Best Starter Kaiju mains you will take deep.
Framework G — Gateway only
If the kaiju exists to satisfy Unlock Requirements:
Priority: Damage → Speed → minimal Health
Avoid romantic PvP trees on a body you will bench the day the gate opens (How to Unlock Kaiju).
Step 3 — breakpoint script
At every fifth level:
- Pause safely.
- Re-read Step 1 diagnosis from this session, not last month.
- Spend exactly one point into the framework’s current priority.
- Log it in a simple note:
Lv15 Kumora +1 Damage. - Resume the Farming Checklist loop or your duel block.
Do not enter the menu to “think for ten minutes.” Frameworks exist so thinking is pre-done.
Step 4 — milestone audits
Level 25 audit
- Still enjoying the kit?
- Framework still matches the job?
- Any wasted early Speed while aiming was bad?
Level 50 audit
- Compare clear times and duel outcomes to level 25.
- If farm feels done but PvP fails, shift next points toward Health/Damage.
- If PvP feels fine but unlocks are slow, shift toward Damage/Speed.
Level 100 / plus-level audit
- Are you plus-leveling because you main this kaiju, or out of habit?
- If maining, continue the hybrid/duelist framework.
- If not, move XP to the next project (How to Level Up).
Step 5 — map-aware tweaks
- Tokyo traffic: earlier Health than pure farmer charts suggest
- Costa Sierpe: Speed/Regen value rises with swim contests
- Prometia learning nights: Health/Regen for Getting Started accounts
- Florida/NY farm blitz: Damage first
Step 6 — beginner guardrails
If you are on Beginner Picks advice:
- No all-Speed trees
- No copying plus-level creator spreads at level 10
- Prefer Framework H until Controls are boring
- Revisit after the group free unlock is claimed
Worked examples (illustrative)
Kumora hybrid at level 30 (6 points): HP, Regen, Dam, Dam, Speed, Dam
Zaratan learner: HP, HP, Regen, Dam, Dam, Regen
Dredger duel project: Dam, HP, Dam, HP, Regen, Dam
Gateway farmer: Dam, Dam, Speed, Dam, Speed, Regen
Adjust when patches change kit feel — originals still use the same four stats.
Closing loop
Planner → spend → farm/fight → diagnose → planner. That loop beats vibes-based clicking. Return to the Tools Hub for the farming sibling page, or to the Guides Hub when you need full articles again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Kaiju Universe players.
How often should I use the skill point planner?
At every five-level breakpoint, plus audits around levels 25, 50, and 100.
Which framework should hybrids use?
Framework H: early Health/Regen, mid Damage, then patch Speed or defenses based on recent deaths and clear times.
What if I already spent points badly?
If the game allows reallocation, fix one axis and test a full session. If not, steer all future breakpoints toward the missing stat.
Do plus levels still use this planner?
Yes. Plus levels continue the same Damage, Health, Regen, and Speed decisions for kaiju you truly main.
