Requirement types you will see

G-Cells price

The common gate. Earn currency through missions and destruction (How to Get G-Cells), optionally codes on the Codes Hub, or Robux packs. Always leave a small reserve if you are mid-mission cycle toward another target.

Ownership + level gates

Some kaiju ask for another specific monster at a minimum level. Because levels are per kaiju and run to 100 plus plus-levels, a gate can mean a full side campaign. Skill points still arrive every five levels on that gateway monster — do not leave them unspent while you “only grind the requirement.”

Group unlock

Join Prometeo Games for the advertised free kaiju. Confirm it appears in your menu after joining; relaunch if needed. Log it as requirement zero on every new account plan.

Robux / gamepass

Optional real-money gates. They skip some grind but not leveling, controls practice, or builds (Skill Points Builds).

In-game verification checklist

Prices and gates change. Before trusting any wiki memory:

1. Open the kaiju menu.
2. Read the entry’s cost line and requirement text.
3. Confirm you own the prerequisite kaiju.
4. Confirm that prerequisite’s level.
5. Confirm you still want the target after looking at its kit preview.
6. Buy only if you have session time to practice (Controls).

Example planning framework (adapt to live menu)

Use this structure in your notes:

• Now playing: starter / group free unlock
• Farm goal: G-Cells amount for next purchase
• Level goal: prerequisite level if any
• Next buy: learner such as Kumora / Zaratan / Aglacius (example targets)
• Later project: Dredger, Reisserax, or Strykarech when fundamentals and wallet agree
• Map for the grind: Prometia or Florida/NY for safe density; Tokyo only if missions need players (Maps and Cities)

Older community names may label targets in outdated charts — translate to current originals before farming the wrong goal.

Buy-order rules that save weeks

1. Free group kaiju before premium purchases.
2. One farmer that can clear missions quickly.
3. Prerequisite monsters only when they unlock something you will play.
4. Meta trophies after you can execute PvP Combat.
5. Never bankrupt G-Cells with zero reserve if a code drought hits.

Leveling math for gates

If Monster B needs Monster A at level 40:

• Estimate how many mission loops that takes via How to Level Up.
• Decide whether A is also a main or pure key.
• If pure key, use a farm-leaning skill tree and do not over-invest vanity points.
• After unlocking B, switch practice time — do not keep A as a distraction unless you enjoy it.

Plus levels on a gateway kaiju are optional flex; hit the gate number first.
